Environmental missionaries, including those who find employment in secular environmental businesses or NGOs, still depend on the commissioning, prayers, accountability, and encouragement of the local church, as illustrated in Acts 13 and explained in Romans 10.

In December 2011, Eden Vigil began supplying “sending services” to its first ever clients, a couple working in Central Africa and sent out by a Midwestern American church.
